Apparently I wanted the ice cream so badly I put the spoon right through the bottom of the container. Either that or I’m stronger than I give myself credit for. 

Regardless, chocolate chip ice cream + real maple syrup = absolutely delicious. Good post-swim, pre-bed snack.

No choice but to eat it all now!

Ride to Conquer Cancer 2015 - Riding again!

I’m going to do it again! This time I’m riding from Toronto to Niagara Falls (the Classic). The phrase “isn’t there a longer one?” popped into my head when I was registering, and lo and behold, YES! there is a longer route!

This time around I am going to train for the ~225km journey. I’ve also set my fundraising goal at $3000.

In 2012, the money I raised went to supporting Breast Cancer Research and treatments. My 2015 funds will go to Leukemia research.
Please, please, please; I encourage you to donate $20 (one dinner out, or a week of coffee) to support my ride. If you cannot give of your finances, I ask you to give of yourself; join the onematch.ca database, and donate blood every 56 days 

Not only will I raise $3000 for Cancer Research, AND cycle 225km from Toronto to Niagara Falls in 2 days with roughly 6000 other people, I pledge to donate blood 6 times between now and my ride. Who’s IN?!
